ICON OF THE WEEK – Dr. Ngozi Okonjo Iwela
Our Icon of the week is no other than the smart, beautiful and phenomenal woman, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo Iwela, (born 13, June 1954) in Ogwashi-Ukwu, Delta State. She is a Nigerian-American economist, former Minister of Finance and she is currently the Director-General of the World Trade Organisation.
Interestingly, she is the first woman and first African to lead the World Trade Organisation as Director-General😊.
She is also the first woman to have served twice as Minister of Finance under different political regimes.
Such a phenomenal woman, this is why she is our Icon of the week!
