Little Act of Kindness

Anita (pseudonym) was an excited child in class, whenever she comes to school, she greets everyone with a big smile and share her experience of the new places she has visited.

Weeks later, everyone started to notice she has lost the spark in her eyes and most pupils started to say negative things about her, I walked up to her to ask what the problem was, Anita, broke down in tears and explained how the peace she felt in her home was no more, her parents were too busy with work and she has been deprived of love and care.

I sent a letter to her parents without Anita’s knowledge 😇 because I didn’t want them to know she told anyone in school what she was experiencing, the following week, Anita returned to school with a brighter smile, I knew all was settled at home.
